Ingredients

3 cups Dream soy, almond or rice milk
4 ice cubes
1/3 cup Maranatha Almond Butter
2 large ripe bananas, broken into three pieces
3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Preparation Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients into a blender cup.
  2. Cover and blend on high smooth for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.

Ingredients

1-1/4 cups canned or puree pumpkin
1-1/4 cups SOY DREAM® Original
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon molasses
¾ teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 prepared 9-inch pie crust (uncooked/unfrozen)

Preparation Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375° F
  • Combine SOY DREAM Original and brown sugar in a small pan, heat; do not boil
  • Combine pumpkin, eggs, molasses, spices and salt in a bowl
  • Slowly pour SOY DREAM Original mixture into pumpkin puree, stirring constantly
  • Pour into the pie crust and place in oven
  • Bake for 45 minutes to one hour. Pie is done when knife inserted into center comes out clean
  • Let pie cool for at least 25 minutes before serving

Banana Berry Oat Dream Smoothie

Ingredients

1 ripe banana, fresh or frozen
1 cup chilled OAT DREAM OR ALMOND DREAM
½ cup strawberries, fresh or frozen

Preparation Instructions

  • Cut banana into chunks and place in a blender with OAT DREAM (or Almond Dream, if desired) and sliced strawberries
  • Blend until creamy and smooth
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy

1 carton (946 ml) chilled Almond Dream
6 ounces silken style tofu, extra firm
6 tablespoons maple syrup
¼ cup brandy or alcohol of choice (optional)
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon cardamom
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cloves

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 cup unbleached white flour
  • 1 cup Rice Dream Original
  • 1 tbs. Spectrum Canola oil
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. egg lightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt

Preparation Instructions

  1. Gently mix all ingredients. Let batter stand for two minutes. Mix in 2 more tbs. of Rice Dream.
  2. Lightly oil pan or griddle; heat over medium – high heat.
  3. Use 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  4. Cook about 1 1/2 minutes on each side. Enjoy with your favorite pancake toppings.

Soy Dream Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 large frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cups Soy Dream Enriched Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, optional
  • ice cubes, optional

Preparation Instructions

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend to combine. Enjoy!
Other ideas:

  1. Take out the strawberries and add raw carob powder.
  2. Pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi, etc.
  3. Soy yogurt.


Soy Dream Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 large baking potatoes
  • 1 tsp. Spectrum Canola oil
  • 7 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 3/4 cup Soy Dream Enriched Original
  • 7 tbsp. soy margarine
  • Garnish: chopped fresh parsley

Preparation Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes. In a steamer basket set over boiling water, steam the potatoes for 15 minutes, until cubes are soft.
  2. While the potatoes are steaming, heat the oil on medium heat in a small saucepan and lightly sauté the garlic, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the soy milk and reduce to a simmer. Continue to cook the mixture while the potatoes finish steaming.
  4. When the potatoes are soft, mash them either by hand or with slow electric mixer; stir in the soy milk mixture and the margarine, adding just as much as needed to reach the desired consistency.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve.
